Legal Services and Pricing:

The Shaw Law Firm, P.C. has provided use of this on-line, secure payment portal for the ease and convenience of our clients. All payments made herein are subject to the details of services provided and their related pricing as outlined in your Retainer Agreement with the Shaw Law Firm, P.C., hereafter referred to as “the Firm.”
All clients will receive written documentation from the Firm including but not limited to a Retainer Agreement, monthly invoices, requests for new retainers, or otherwise. This documentation will contain specific dollar amounts due to which payment can be made through this on-line secure payment portal.

Receipt into Trust Account

ALL payments received by the Firm through this portal will be deposited into your Trust Account with the Firm and applied toward your legal fees and case expenses as outlined in your Retainer Agreement with the Firm and outlined below.

Payment of Balance Due

If you have a balance due to the Shaw Law Firm, per a written invoice that you have received, the funds deposited into your Trust Account through this payment portal will then be applied toward your Balance Due. Any payment you made above and beyond the balance due will remain in your Trust Account and applied toward future legal fees or case expenses as outlined in your Retainer Agreement with the Firm.

Payment of Additional Retainer

If you have been requested by the Firm to provide additional funds toward the legal fees and case expenses of an on-going case, the funds received via this payment portal will be deposited into your Trust Account and will remain there until such time as an invoice is generated and funds owed will be applied toward that invoice automatically.

Refunds At Close of Case

At the Close of your Case, (details and descriptions provided in your Retainer Agreement with the Firm), you will receive a refund of any amounts remaining in your Trust Account per the policies outlined in your Retainer Agreement with the Firm.

Refunds During A Case

If you have made a payment in error or otherwise request a refund payments made through this payment portal, contact the Firm directly by filling out the below form:
All refund requests will be processed within 5 business days of receipt and a response to your request will be provided in writing by the Firm explaining actions taken based on the terms in your Retainer Agreement with the Firm.
